Youth Connect is an organization and programming model that empowers young people from the ages of 13 to 21 with the skills and resources they need to meaningfully enrich their local, national, and international communities.
Every young person deserves the opportunity to learn the skills they need to become engaged, thoughtful citizens capable of advocating for the causes they care about. In an increasingly digitized, globalized world, young people learn these skills best through experiential projects where they can set the agenda, collaborate with peers and mentors, and put innovative ideas into practice. Youth Connect offers this platform—its members enter as students and leave as leaders.
Youth Connect’s programming provides young people with the ability to design and implement educational workshops, community service projects, and awareness-raising campaigns, as well as opportunities to participate in professional development trainings that prepare them for higher education and professional industries.
Our mission is to bring young people together in a collaborative, empowering space where they can advocate for meaningful social causes while developing their professional skill set. Through youth-led educational programming, community service projects, multimedia, and professional networking, young people are equipped to serve vulnerable communities and build connections around the world.
Youth Connect supports young people aged 13-21 to enrich their skills, reach their potential, and influence change. We do this through peer-led programmes of volunteering, social action projects, and learning experiences, and by amplifying the voice of young people with key decision makers.
Our work is innovative because it is youth-led.
We work collaboratively, in service of others.
Equity and diversity always guide our approach.
We are a professional, ethical team who is caring, committed and collaborative.
