Project Unmask

The ‘UnMask’ project initiated to provide a platform for our peers to openly express their opinions about issues faced by them by letting go of their inhibitions, and without any fear of judgement, besides aiming to spress awareness. 

The club provides its members of privilege to get together, connect and enhance their knowledge about various socio-political, cultural and economic topics of discussion, in addition to urging them to get their creative juices running. Apart from responsive conversations, the members of the society also create art, poetry, songs and other creative assets to contribute and express themselves towards the cause. 

The club believes in unity and lets the members decide unanimously the theme of the week everyone will work towards- everyone gets the opportunity to contribute in their art, craft, social media management, blogging, presenting, or simply suggesting topics of discussion and other ideas. 

The main purposes of starting UnMask: 

• To provide a secure platform for students, to express themselves, their ideas and opinions on any  issues that they are dealing with. 

•  Provide students a voice to express themselves without being judged. Students learn how to  respect each other’s opinions even if they are in disagreement and to understand that each of their  voices matters. 

•  Generate awareness about issues that this generation is facing and collectively find a solution if  possible 

•  Establish leadership through presentations, campaigns and meetings run by members of the  club/society. The making of a club will show members how to stand up for what they believe in.
