Submission Guidelines:

1. We want you to express yourself through: poetry, storytelling, essays and other forms of writing.
2. You should be between the ages of 13-21.
3. Entries must not exceed 600 words.
4. Please provide the links to your social media profiles.
5. There are no charges for the submission. It is free for all. 
6. All submissions will be considered for publication in YouthConnect magazine and YouthPost newsletter. 
7. YouthConnect has a no-tolerance policy for plagiarism. We will check the originality of your work through online plagiarism checkers. All entries will be proofread by our team and minor aspects of your writing may be edited.

Writing Guidelines:

Please read the following guidelines before submitting an article for review:

• You need to submit your work in Microsoft Word Document.   
• You must include your full name, the name of your school and the name of your city along with your submission.  
• Provide an engaging title/headline.
• Please split your content up with relevant sub-headings.
• Use short paragraphs so that it is easy to read.
• Must be original and written in proper English.
• Must not be copied (in full or in part) from another website, article, book or any source which has copyright.
• Entries must not exceed 600 words..
• Is not sarcastic, have polarizing views or be negative.
• If you include images or videos within the article, they must be high quality and with copyright approval (please supply proof of this).
• Include references to any data, statistics or research that you use (including hyperlinks to the source).

Deadlines: 

There are no deadlines for submission. We will be taking in submissions throughout the year, and considering the best articles for publishing.

• We do not pay for articles or accept payment for posting articles on our website. 
• We periodically check the articles submitted and published on our website. If we find that your article has been posted elsewhere, we may remove it from our website.
• By submitting an article, you agree to us using it on our website (with any editorial amends we deem suitable) and you will not claim for payment or copyright infringement now or in the future.
• Finally, when the article is published on our website, it is then owned by us and you are not permitted to re-publish the article without our prior written approval.
